I'm Madelien, yet the only person to call me by my full name is my mum when she's very upset. Everyone else knows me as Maddie or Mads.

I’m a creative, mostly art, sometimes copy and have worked with some weird and wonderful people at some wonderful and weird places such as MullenLowe, Publics, BBH and Mother.

I've always wanted to travel the world. So after months of planning and a strict diet of water and noodles, I said goodbye to my flat, handed in my notice, and jumped on the plane to my first stop: New Zealand.
This was the 6th of March 2020.

Thankfully, I managed to stick around and travel most of Aotearoa.
I helped national and internal film production navigate the Waikato with Waikato Screen, and in my spare time, I organise a small film festival called Misty Flicks.

I am available for freelance work in New Zealand and the UK.
